It’s been forever since my last post….

The Enchantment of Beauty and the Beast went extremely well.

The banquet was really really fun too, everyone who came had a great time. It was hard to leave.

Tech rehearsals are currently happening this week. We usually get there at around 8. We will be there tomorrow. If you’d like to come help, it would be greatly appreciated. Kat is the bestest best stage manager/tech super hero in the world. ^_^

Soooo…. the Talent Show turned out to be a bummer….

 BUT…..

WE STILL HAVE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!!!!!!!!!!

Auditions are tomorrow, February 5 and Friday, February 6.

Anyone, I repeat ANYONE who wants to be in it in some way must be present to be considered for a role.

Come prepared for a cold script and song(if you want a singing part).

Talent Show and Auditions

Hey guys!

I know it’s been a while. Hope everyone had Happy Holidays and a Blessed New Year.

You may or may not know, there is a talent show on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 4 PM in the Old Gym at Mortimer Jordan.

If you are a student at MJHS get a form for the talent show from Mrs. Duke in Room 19. Make sure your act is SCHOOL APPROPRIATE. THERE WILL BE A SCREENING!

Also, auditions for the musical, Beauty and the Beast, are coming up soon. You may pick up audition music in Mrs. Duke’s room as well.

Success!!

This past weekend was awesome!

There were no MAJOR mishaps although there were some squabbles. Everyone I spoke to after the show said it was the best they’ve seen at Mortimer Jordan and it showed that we worked really hard because of the steadiness and smooth progression.

Again I want to thank the cast and crew for all of their time and hard works.

Most of all: Thank you, Mrs. Duke for saving our drama department from completely disappearing. We love you and we know it’s been hard on you. Thank you for your dedication and patience!

Outside readers(parents, friends, family): I sincerely hope you will come to support us one of the three oppurtunities you will have on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Slowing to an End

As most of you already know, we are coming to an end of “Little Women.”

By now, everyone should DEFINITELY have all costumes and props. If you don’t THEN GET ON IT! THE PLAY IS NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!!

It’s been a long, hard rode but we are pulling it together.

Tech is getting pretty awesome! Good job, Kat!
